Dr Moreena Kwa, Rehabilitation Specialists

Delmar is very pleased to have Dr Moreena Kwa on our team of Rehabilitation Specialists. Dr Kwa provides Rehabilitation services at Delmar hospital for
those who require inpatient, day program or out-patient assessment and management. Dr Kwa completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) at the University of Medicine 1 in Yangon, Myanmar and worked as a general practitioner before moving to Australia. She completed her Australian medical council training in Sydney and internship at Wollongong hospital. Since she obtained her residency at Westmead Hospital, she has worked at the following hospitals on rotation: Balmain Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Royal Ryde Hospital and Westmead Private Rehabilitation Hospital. She became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physician in 2015. Dr Kwa currently holds specialist posts in Delmar Private Hospital, Longville Private Hospital, President Private Hospital and Figtree, Private Hospital. She brings with her a wide range of rehabilitation experience from  Orthopaedic Rehabilitation after Joint Replacement and post fracture , Chronic pain management , looking after patients with disabilities post stroke and post injury which include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputee rehabilitation and people with neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson disease and Multiple Sclerosis etc.).

Dr Moreena Kwa would be pleased to accept referrals from admission to an inpatient or day rehabilitation program. Dr Kwa provides Rehabilitation services at Delmar hospital for those who require inpatient, day program or out-patient assessment and management.
