Dr Oliver Florica

Dr Florica trained as a trauma surgeon in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa and pursued another decade of advanced training in Australia. In 2002, he became a Fellow of the Australian College of Surgeons and subsequently a Member of the Australian Obesity Surgery Society. His training, however, has never stopped and he continues to stay abreast of most modern surgical techniques. In 2008 and 2012, he was awarded a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Strasbourg, France. Throughout his career he has participated in or performed in excess of 20,000 surgical procedures and is capable of surgery with excellent outcomes, satisfying high expectations.
